#12  man in 'HiTech Business Chic

Make that guy a rep from Weyland-Yutani Corp doing gain-of-function research on Avatar, add in a xenomorph infestation and you have a rocking hit, magpie! It would even resonate! Bank!

#11  My 10 minute Avatarâ„¢ sequel:
[Cut to Starship Bridge, Avatar in background and a comet body in foreground through bridge windows]
[Cut to space shuttle landing in open space surrounded by natives. Shutters on side open to show man in 'HiTech Business Chic'] Short dialog with The Company offering 'The Deal' and the Heroâ„¢ and Natives turning it down [Rude gestures by Natives]
[Aide to 'Suit'}: "Sir, we have 5 minutes..."
['Suit' as shuttle rises into sky]: "What a pity..."
[Break to Starship, engine 'things' detach from from comet, Avatar gets larger in screen, Engine noises as ship climbs away to higher orbit]
[Starship Pilot]: "Retros detached and course nominal..."
[Scene change] News program shows picture of very large impact on Avatar with commentator announcing that 'XYZ Corporation just happens to be sending disaster relief for the poor natives'. Chyron on bottom of screen: "XYZ STOCK HAS MASSIVE GAINS ON REPORT OF NEW UNOBTANIUM FINDS..."

If film makers had any artistic sense, and two working balls, they'd make a sci-fi slasher crossover and make bank. Bank, I tell you!

#7  I'm sure they'll weave wokery into an alien story too. As if the entire universe could be beset by guilt mongering grifters and self-righteous fools.

My favourite movie alien will always be the Yautja. He just lives for fun doesn't he?

#6  No...think I'd rather put on Aliens and remember Cinema before there was such a term as Practical Effects.

#5  Director James Cameron will dedicate his long-awaited sequel Avatar: The Way of Water to his late friend Bill Paxton... who passed away in 2017

#4  The commercials for each are so generic and tagging in all the signs of bad movies, I keep hoping that Avatar 2 and Wakanda 2 are the same Water World movie and they fight each other.

#3  I didn't watch the first on so why watch the second. The same goes for Wakanda.

#2  Avatar made much money and yet hardly anybody remembers it.
Unless Cameron has some sort of new 3d trick I don't see this one lighting up theaters.

#1  I'll watch it when the humans win. So never.
