#2 Looks like it was blown from the inside outward, based on debris field in the videos and photos. Until I see a crater caused by an external explosive, I'm still under the belief that hydrate plugs busted loose by a cleaning pig (or something similar). |

#1 The video they showed had the metal bending outward. Which means the force came from inside the pipe. Datapoint which goes toward the theory of a hydro-plug that ruptured the pipe due to Russian incompetence. |
