Uvalde suspends ENTIRE school district police force over failed response to Robb Elementary School massacre | |
2022-10-08 | |
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
In a statement today, the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) wrote: 'Recent developments have uncovered additional concerns with department operations. 'As a result of the developments, Lt Miguel Hernandez and Ken Mueller have been placed on administrative leave. 'The District has made the decision to suspend all activities of the Uvalde CISD Police Department for a period of time. 'Officers currently employed will fill other roles in the district. Ken Mueller has elected to retire.' The news of the suspension comes just days after a Uvalde cop who resigned after being slammed by parents for failing to intervene in the massacre was rehired to protect the school. Crimson Elizondo, 45, has now been fired from her position at the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District after another outcry from parents. Elizondo, a former officer with the Texas Department of Public Safety, was among the first cops to arrive at the scene of the May 24 shooting. She was caught on bodycam outside the building, failing to make any attempt to enter it. #6 It took 5 months to figure out, their handling as a total F-UP? Took that long to figure out how to spin it. *blush* That information... Somebody reads my comments! Uvalde shooter exhibited 'almost every warning sign,' expert says |

#5 *blush* That information came from a link Skidmark gave us in comments to one of the early posts about the young miscreant, swksvolFF. Since my memory is so porous about that kind of thing, I indulge in making use of the incredible data base here. But it is odd that there isn’t more about him somewhere. |

#4 Nothing more about the shooter though. Total mystery. Active qwerty with an unusual amount of disposable income isn't interesting at all. Trailing Wife, in one sentence, more than all rags combined. |

#3 It took 5 months to figure out, their handling as a total F-UP? Doesn't suspending the ENTIRE FORCE announce to every crazy idiot out there that the schools are again now wide open? |

#2 Check with the "legal team" first, then you can suspend (with pay), then put on "indefinite leave" (until you define the real time), then move toward "investigating their performance under stress" (consult with psychiatrists), then you will consider " were they under "DTSD" (During Traumatic Stress Syndrome) or were they just under "CSSS" (Chicken Shit Stress Syndrome) = Whatever the case, children died because they had no balls. F-K-M for the rest of their lives... they were cowards. |

#1 Maybe schools should hire private security contractors. Army, marine, DEA, major crimes vets could get well paying jobs, cops wouldn't have to enter campuses. Guys with experience and well trained internal alarms could effectively prevent such stuff? |
