Intelligence Agency of the Taliban administration said that the Taliban forces have arrested an ISIS Khorasan branch member
2022-10-06

The Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
intelligence agency, in a tweet on Tuesday, October 4, claimed that it had arrested the head of foreign and financial relations and of the Khorasan branch of the ISIS terrorist group.

The arrested man, Abdul Malik,
...a popular name throughout the Ummah...
shown in a video tweet by the Taliban confessing to fundraising and recruiting ISIS fighters.

The man in the video claims to be from the eastern Afghan province of Kunar and was in charge of recruiting imported muscle and raising funds for the ISIS organization.

Abdul Malik alleged that he received funding for the ISIS group’s operations from Germany, Spain, and Ukraine.

The circumstances under which this confession was taken or may have been extorted from him are still unknown.

The Taliban, on the other hand, previously claimed that ISIS has been defeated and is no longer able to launch attacks, in a meeting with Tomas Niklasson, the special representative of the European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
for Afghanistan.

ISIS and other terrorist organizations in Afghanistan "have now been hit hard, they lost their ability to resist and attack, and they are now attacking defenseless people," according to Amir Khan Muttaqi, Taliban Foreign Minister who also spoke with the EU official.

This comes as many countries in the region and in the international community have expressed concerns over the terrorism emanating from Afghanistan, calling it a threat to regional and global security.

#1  Malik alleged that he received funding for the ISIS group’s operations from... Ukraine.

There's more muslims in Ireland, and Luxembourg than UKR. UKR is an interesting place to have received funding from because UKR is not very affluent. But considering that foreign aid is largely unaudited, there is implication.
