At least four people were killed and 25 others were maimed in a blast that took place at a mosque of the Ministry of Interior (MoI), a front man for the MoI said, adding that an investigation is underway and further details will be shared later.
Emergency Hospital tweeted that "after a kaboom in a mosque at the Interior Ministry," it has received "20 patients - 2 were already dead on arrival."
"This is the 2nd mass casualty the hospital has handled in recent days, and the 23rd of the year so far," the hospital said.
Abdul Nafay Takor, a front man for the MoI, said that the blast happened at a mosque while some employees of the ministry were praying.
No one has yet to claim the responsibility for the blast. |
