 [ZH] A vibrant and diverse mob of people entered a Wawa convenience store on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia and broke out into a riot, seemingly without warning or reason. There's no comment yet from Philadelphia police on the cause of the rampage. As the economic situation in the US continues to decline and prices continue to rise on most goods, expect to see more scenes like this one on a regular basis. [Video in ZH article.] |

| #6 Been hearing from some loss prevention buddies... They are more and more focused on the FOOD areas than even the cash registers. NOTE: Baby stroller couples, using a blanket over the child seat area to hide items, being the currently most common shoplifters. One even joked he was thinking it would be not too long before hiring armed guard escorts to get customers safely to their car. |
