| [IsraelTimes] Manhunt launched for button men in two separate shooting incidents, one near checkpoint shuttered after last week’s deadly shooting near Paleostinian village of Jalamah Shots were fired Tuesday morning at a military position along the security barrier in the northern West Bank, the Border Police said. According to police, a number of bullet impact points were spotted on a dirt road inside the Salem base, close to the Arab Israeli town of the same name along the security barrier. Police said officers and Israel Defense Forces troops launched a manhunt for the alleged Paleostinian button men. Then, on Tuesday afternoon, the IDF said shots were fired at troops operating along the northern West Bank security barrier, near the town of Faqqua. No officers or soldiers were hurt in either incident. In Israeli raids across the West Bank early Tuesday, troops detained eight wanted Paleostinians, the IDF said. |
