Security forces in the Volgograd region detained a local resident suspected of recruiting an Uzbek citizen into the ranks of the Islamic State."A 29-year-old local resident was detained, involved in inciting a citizen of Uzbekistan to participate in the activities of the international terrorist organization Islamic State," the FSB department said.
A case has been initiated against the detainee under part 1.1 of article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia (assistance to terrorist activities). In addition, during the search, the suspect was seized packing scales and a mobile phone with the geographic coordinates of the alleged places for laying drugs, writes with reference to the press service of the FSB Interfax.
