'In State After State… Democrats Are Running as Republicans to Get Into Office – They Even Have a Name for It – They Call it secret sleepers
2022-09-13
[GatewayPundit] In June Project Veritas released leaked audio of Democrat US Senate candidate Krystle Matthews speaking on the phone with an inmate at Perry Correctional Institution. Democrat Matthews called for “secret sleepers” to infiltrate the South Carolina Republican party.

Krystle Matthews: "We need some secret sleepers. Like you need them to run as the other side, even though they for our side. And we need them to win... We need people to run as Republicans in these local elections. This is the only way you’re gonna change the dynamics in South Carolina."
Jim Hoft continues with examples from the states of Missouri, Alaska, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Ohio, and Arizona to support his thesis.

#8  They have been doing this for decades. That is how so many RINOs got in. That is why it is so helpful to have someone vet candidates (the way Trump has been doing). That is why in general we should know what their previous affiliation was.

#5  This is why I find the idea of 'jungle' or 'open' primaries so odious.

"Maybe we can use voodoo to control the existing Republicans. Or maybe we could steal their bodies!"

#3  Of course, the Republicans (the politicians and insiders especially) are their own worst enemy when it comes to defining and protecting their brand...

#2  How desperate. They gotta pretend to be the other side to get elected.

#1  So now even the strategy to vote a straight Republican ticket is clouded.
