[ColonelCassad] Another delayed consequence of the breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Balakleya.
Based on the map of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation at today's briefing, the RF Armed Forces have already left the north of the Kharkiv region operationally. The front now passes along the border of the Belgorod region with Ukraine and along Oskol.

[ColonelCassad] Western version of the Balakleysky breakthrough scheme. In fact, a blow to the flank and rear of the Izyum group. In such a situation, not being able to close the hole at Balakleya, the withdrawal from the Izyum ledge was the only possible decision on the part of the command (letting the group die in Izyum, as the Armed Forces of Ukraine did in Mariupol, frankly, would be a mistake with much more catastrophic consequences), which made it possible to avoid the boiler and the complete collapse of the front.
But in any case, at the moment the operational crisis has not yet been fully overcome. In general, the whole story is that such breakthroughs of the front should not be allowed. It will obviously go down in history as the Balakliya breakthrough.
