Allegedly the front in that area is collapsing and is basically a rout in some areas; the roads are clogged with Quislings and collaborators whose panicked evacuations are slowing the Russian withdrawal from the area. There are reports of local Ukrainian "security elements" and police being sent to arrest collaborators and, allegedly, there are "hit lists" drawn up for the people who held higher positions or committed "war crimes". This is going to get uglier.
It appears the Ukrainian Army has driven forces all the way south along the west side of the water from KUpiyansk and is driving north from the southern edge to close the ring. Supposedly 10-20K Russian troops remain in the pocket, mostly supply, command, and other REMFs. There are also reports that some artillery and SAMs are moving into the area, which has dire consequences for what remains of the supply routes in the region for Russia.
