NATO Secretary-General: If Putin 'Wins' in Ukraine, It Is Dangerous for All of Us
2022-09-11
NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all....
Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that if Russian President Putin prevails in Ukraine, it will not just be bad for the Ukrainians; it will also be perilous for all NATO Allies. The allies have given Ukraine unprecedented assistance, including weapon systems, ammunition, and other capabilities.

At a news conference where US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also spoke, NATO official Jens Stoltenberg stated that NATO supports Ukraine with security so that Russian President Putin does not "win" in Ukraine.

Stoltenberg said that by preventing President Putin and Russia from succeeding in Ukraine, NATO is really boosting its own security and fortifying the Alliance, stating that "we don’t allow that kind of behavior close to our own borders."

The arms and ammunition NATO is supplying to Ukraine are used to stop Russia’s hostile actions against a strong NATO ally and independent sovereign state in Europe, according to the presser’s transcripts, released on September 9.

The Secretary General of NATO issued an appeal for even more assistance and urged NATO countries to delve further into their stocks and inventories to continue supplying Ukraine with the resources it urgently needs.

At the same time the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken said "I think we can say that Ukraine is proceeding in a very deliberate way with a strong plan and, critically, enabled by resources that many of us are providing."

He further said that he was "absolutely confident" Ukrainians will be successful in fending off Russian aggression as Ukrainians are fighting for their homeland.

Blinken stated that "this is Ukraine’s homeland, not Russia." People fight for their future and their homeland.

#3  Sonny, Burisma was owned by an ally of Vladimir Putin. The Ukrainians were trying to prosecute the owner for various corrupt offenses when Biden shut them down.

What you're saying is kinda like saying the US entered WW2 to profit Joe Kennedy when Joe Kennedy was basically on the _other side_ in the leadup.

(I suspect you know all this. The half truth is too finely surgically crafted and keeps coming around...)

#2  Win, lose, or draw, men like Vlad are still very dangerous. May I also add, they are not all Russian.

#1  So it has nothing to do with our government's deeply corrupt relationship with Ukraine. Gotcha. Hunter Biden was on the board of directors of Burisma, for fuck's sake. He's not what you call qualified for the position. Unless his qualification was being Joe Biden's son. Oh wait, it was.
