#10  The flooding became so immersive that it caused ... a collapse

Immersulating. You need to use the aquatic passive voice here. "The flooding became so immersulating that it caused... stuff."

#7  What do you expect from the daily mail? There web page reads like a third grader edited it, or maybe a third grader could do better.

#5  The Daily Fail never fails to entertain. Last week everyone in the northeast was going to die of thirst because of the worstest drought evah!

One day of rain and now we're all going to drown!

One building under construction falls over and a couple of storm drains clog and the entire US is supposed to be under water.

The British media just doesn't get America.

#3  The flooding became so immersive that it caused ... a collapse

Never heard that one before. I would've used 'intense'.

Definition of immersive: providing, involving, or characterized by deep absorption or immersion in something (such as an activity or a real or artificial environment)

#1  That system forced us to high ground Saturday, we got lucky with no damage. Missed a lot of work though.
