In Nablus’s Balata refugee camp in the northern West Bank, armed festivities erupted after Israeli troops entered to arrest wanted individuals. A Paleostinian man, identified as Samer Khaled from the nearby Ein Beit al-Ma’ refugee camp, was shot in the neck and later died, Paleostinian media reports said.
