Trump lawyers seek halt of Mar-a-Lago document inquiry, want Special Master to oversee review |
2022-08-23 |
The lawsuit filed Monday by Trump's legal team cast the search in stark political terms and described the government's search warrant as overly broad because it authorized FBI agents to seize "boxes of documents merely because they are physically found together with other items purportedly within the scope of the warrant." The former president's attorneys also accused Attorney General Merrick Garland of using the criminal justice system to alter the political landscape. In their filing, Trump's lawyers also said Garland's recent statement acknowledging the search "clearly suggests that the decision to raid Mar-a-Lago, a mere 90 days before the 2022 midterm elections, involved political calculations aimed at diminishing the leading voice in the Republican party, President Trump." |

#3 It's reported now that the "boxes of documents" were packed by GSA employees, not Trump staffers. Won't stop Garland's Gestapo from claiming Trump orchestrated it all. |

#1 The DEEP STATE Coup, having had the files now for what, about 14+ days now? Thus, using a COTS typical <$500 Page OCR-Scanner, which can scan 20-30 pages a minute (about 60k+ pages a day.) and save them into either TEXT, Img, DOC, or PDF formats. So if they used a small team of 10 agents (5 to collect and sort out documents and 5 running/using OCR (USB3.0) enabled system scanners. Then this team could have sorted through, scanned, added to, or edited what the DC DEEP STATE / Coup wants to twist, and leak to NYT/WAPO/CNN/MS-NBC, a viable task. I hope TRUMP has a few remotely & well hidden Flash Drives. BTW: Hiding Flash drives like a 32gb to 128gb Memory Card(0.43in x 0.59in x 0.04in) is ridiculously easy. |
