#22  He shot a bear in his pajamas?

Naked ladies and P.J. guys shooting intruders in their homes.

Gives me hope.

#21  Legend had it bear fat is/was supposed to be a delicacy. Or is it one of those that which can kill you, tastes better?

#20  What about flamethrowers? Would a flamethrower be useful when bears are wandering through the premises?

#19  My very first personal handgun was a TC in .30-30. Frame cracked so …..

#18  Bear meat. Pass. Got that urge beaten out me at Horace Greeley.

#15  I think I'd have to cover that pistol with toothpaste before I fired it.

#14  90mm recoilless might be more effective

Ruins too much meat. 40mm HEDP is the sweet spot.

#13  Yes, to both. But I am unlikely to kill one. Can't be ruled out, however as it is situational. Very.

#12  Do y'all have alot of bear break ins or do y'all just like big ass guns?

#11  A better plan would be to keep bears out of your house on the first place.

#10  /\ I do have a low sense of humor though.

#9  #5 might/should get 'er done. Single shot though, do not miss. P.S. Murcek's video is a hoot.

#6  10mm is a decent choice, and lots of it. Consider a .460?

For me, for bear (or LARV) a 90mm recoilless might be more effective. Just watch out for that back-blast.

Pix later if I live that long.

#3  Regarding 9mm for Bear

In short, a 9mm, and even 50 rds could have just pissed it off.

I prefer a Colt Delta Elite 10 mm for serious issues.
