[SUN] A GUNMAN opened fire at a bus carrying Jewish worshippers in Jerusalem - injuring at least seven people. Two victims are in a critical condition following the horror attack in the Old City, including a pregnant woman with abdominal injuries. It is understood she has undergone an emergency delivery - with the newborn in a serious but stable condition as their mum fights for her life. One man is being treated for gunshot wounds to the head and neck. The bus was waiting in a parking lot near the Western Wall - the holiest site where Jews can pray - when it was hit by a hail of bullets. Police say the suspected terrorist then fled the scene - leaving the bus riddled with bullet holes.
Following an hours-long manhunt, police said in a statement that the suspect turned himself in along with the gun apparently used in the shooting. A photo of the weapon released by police showed a pistol on the floor of a car. The statement did not specify where the suspect turned himself in. Security forces had been carrying out searches in the Silwan neighborhood outside the Old City, where the suspect allegedly fled after firing on a bus and cars close to a parking lot near the Western Wall. According to Hebrew media reports, the suspect is an East Jerusalem resident who took a cab to a cop shoppe where he turned himself in. He was identified as Amir Sidawi, 26. Reports said he had no previous security record, but had been enjugged You have the right to remain silent... for five years for criminal offenses.
