2022-08-07
The Taliban continue clearing away all seduced by even the slightest Wrong Think, no matter how otherwise piously erudite.
[KhaamaPress] Unidentified button men killed a tribal elder in the Momand Dara district of Nangarhar
The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets
departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country..

province in eastern Afghanistan, according to local sources.

The tribal elder was reportedly shot and killed on Friday, August 6, according to reports by local media.

The tribal leader’s name was Malek Jameel, and according to the local media, who cited their sources, he was forcefully taken out of his residence on Friday, August 5, by unidentified gunnies before being rubbed out.

Sources claim that he was taken from his house on Friday night and his dead body was found the next morning.

According to the source, the victim had no animosity against anyone, and it is still unknown who killed him and why.

Furthermore, according to reports, locals blocked the Torkham-Jalalabad route for almost two hours in protest at the tribal elder’s death.

The protesters called for justice and urged the security officials to apprehend the criminal(s) responsible for the crime.

On Friday, another tribal elder was killed by unidentified attackers while performing morning prayers at a mosque in the Chaparhar district of the eastern Nangarhar province.

According to the Taliban

#7  They all did, Murcek. Ghani was no better. That's what I'm trying to say, this place, these societies... they don't see your high egalitarian ideals or the bill of rights or some righteous humanist cause in the establishment of democracy, parliaments, bureaucracies, judiciaries.

What they see is perfectly running, well oiled gravy trains. Systems of coercion and extortion where even the wily and cowardly can enjoy the power enjoyed by goons and tough guys.

And that's the only reason they ask you to come and help them build 'democracies'. And then you sit back and wonder why it's never working for them like it worked for you and billions of other honest people around the world.

It's not for them. Just like it's not for Africans.

#6  He stole with both hands. Even if that's the norm in that part of the world, that doesn't make it right.

#5  Karzai did a lot of good for Afghan women, TW. As much as moslemnity can allow, stretched to its limits. Schools, universities, proper healthcare, family inspectors, judges appointed to police domestic abuse, child marriage etc. India helped too. Thousands of Afghan teachers, lawyers, doctors and nurses were educated in our universities, even their top ANDF officers recieved training in our academies.

He must be pissed watching his legacy turned to shit because of all this. Pakistain cannot order the Taliban anything anymore. I reckon Karzai is trying to insult the Taliban into denouncing the wimmin oppressing doctrines they learnt under the jamaat teach, the one that they haven't outgrown yet.
He wants to challenge their sense of individuality or something, into giving the population some respite from inhuman religious rules created in Islamabad and rural India by total bumpkins.

The Taliban are goons. Thugs, wanting their own Emirate, funded, armed and recognised by the west as a State. They are trying all sorts of postures to achieve an optic which gets them there. And they figure breaking from both Brotherhood and Jamaat versions of Islam and establishing a third flavour. And so far it's a mish mash of stuff, really transparent thuggery disguised as some kind of 'well policed' society. Soon, they may present the west a facade of girls going to school, women working in some offices etc. To get the 'tranches' going 😉. Everyone is not as stupid as the Biden administration, you see. And they'll want more and more money to get an economy going. But so far they're not really doing a good PR job.

Because as the pakis know, the pashtun is essentially an underdeveloped idiot. His barbaric brain is not meant for much else beyond animal survival. Add to that Islam and you get a complete knuckle dragging sasquatch.

It is the modern world's fault for supplying islamic societies with the fruits of civilization. Democracy, constitution, industry, infrastructure, banking... they should never have been given anything. The most anyone can do for islamics, is give them an option to convert to any other religion before putting them out of their misery.

Karzai too should have stayed in India after his education, except he went back to rule in hell.

I shall share what I know of the IS-Khorasan's feud with the Taliban in the region, just as soon as I have a little time and privacy. It's basically calvinball, with one very dirty Pakistani finger up an even dirtier ass. Again.
