| [AnimalPolitico] The Secretary of Security of San Luis Potosà indicated that the people who died, 10 men and 3 women, are presumably members of an organized crime cell. Thirteen suspected criminals were killed and two detained was the result of a confrontation between security forces and an armed group in the municipality of Rayón, San Luis PotosÃ. The Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection of the state indicated that the people killed are presumably members of an organized crime cell in Rayón, which would have been responsible for multiple criminal situations in the region. The people who died are 10 men and 3 women, who wore ballistic vests. The agency explained that this Thursday afternoon an armed group was detected on a road in the town of Vaqueros, in the municipality of Rayón. Agents of the State Civil Guard repelled the aggression by subjects who were sheltering inside a home. Inside the building, five 7.62×39 caliber long guns (AKs) and 22 long guns, apparently 308 caliber, were found. While, outside the home, three Pick Up trucks were located, and inside one of them, with license plates from the state of Tamaulipas, a man was found and a woman was found next to him in the passenger seat, and between the front seat a long weapon of the so-called horn of a goat, as well as multiple tire punches made by hand. Also located is a Ford Lariat double cab pickup truck with Florida state identification plates. The secretariat reported that another gray Honda CRV truck without identification plates and a white pickup truck with black stripes were found in the back of the home. Outside the house, on the dirt road vehicular stream, a gray Ford pickup truck was found, without tires, mounted between stones and metal structures. |
