FBI director Christopher Wray vows to protect whistleblowers after former DOJ and bureau employees told Republicans information about Hunter Biden's criminal probe was quashed
2022-08-05
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Donald Trump-appointed FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Capitol Hill Thursday

  • It comes after Chuck Grassley, the committee's ranking Republican, revealed recently that he heard from whistleblowers in the FBI and DOJ

  • The whistleblowers alleged the FBI had planned in 2020 to classify negative information about Hunter Biden as 'disinformation'

  • At the time, Grassley and then-Senate Oversight Committee Chair Ron Johnson were looking into Hunter Biden's foreign business dealings in China and Ukraine

  • Wray would not answer directly when Grassley asked him to commit to not pursuing the whistleblowers' identities but said he's against retaliation

#3  Sounds like Wray just wants them recognized for 'future actions'.

#2  How nice. Wray will protect whistleblowers but still do little to nothing about actually investigating the Biden criminal enterprise.

#1  If he could have been there, Seth Rich might have had a few questions for Director Wray.
