| #4 As I commented when this first happened, note the absence of any mention of the Napa Sheriff's Office or the Deputy who was first on the scene. I wonder why? Except from the Napa Sheriff's Department policy Manual: "501.4.5 TRAFFIC COLLISIONS ON ROADWAYS OR HIGHWAYS Traffic collision reports shall be taken when they occur on a roadway or highway within the jurisdiction of this department where we have traffic enforcement authority under any of the following circumstances: (a) When there is a death or injury to any persons involved in the collision (b) When a Hit and Run occurs (Vehicle Code § 20002) (c) When a report is requested by any involved driver (d) When there is damage to city property or vehicles" |
