#10 #5 Please correct any miscalculations here Ever had to deal with the 'woke' school board? Much less the 'unmotivated students' themselves where you are not allowed to motivate them for fear of being accused of 'improper conducts'? Being forced to teach falsehood and not allowed to really teach the truth? Frankly our school systems is a holy mess! |

#8 My daughter and her husband are both teachers a nd while in front of students 9 months a year they both have required actions during the summer, also many ‘volunteer’ hours throughout the year. They get paid better than the guy in the story however. |

#7 What does the Department do for Education? If this question can't be answered without spin or some meaningless word salad B.S., get rid of it. Shift control to the States, local control or home school. |

#5 Please correct any miscalculations here. He'll work 12 months at Walmart vs 9 months in the school system. If he only worked 9 months at Walmart per that rate he would take home roughly $42,000 a year. $55,000 - $12,000 = $43,000. You think he could pick up a job for 3 months between school years to give him something more than $1000? |

#4 #1 Ohio teacher quits his job to become a manager at WALMART because it pays $55,000-a-year before bonuses - at least $12,000 more than he was earning at school Posted by: Clyde Phomble5627 2022-08-01 08:19 ...I know the Massillon area pretty well, and this don't surprise me. The big districts tend to monopolize most of the state money, and historically they're all badly managed. The smaller districts have pretty much soaked up all the cash they can from areas whose tax bases have been slowly eroding for decades. Mike |
