| #4 for several years now al Sadr has been denouncing Iran's influence in Iraq I don't know what Iran did that ticked al Sadr off (maybe it was nothing) but give al Sadr credit for picking a good issue. It ended up giving him over twice as many seats in Parliament as the next highest party. That was Oct 2021. |
