Fauci is once again spouting bad COVID advice
2022-07-15
[NYPOST] Controversial ex-COVID czar Anthony Fauci reemerged this week to urge that, because of rising infection rates, we consider a return to comprehensive masking protocols. That’s bad health-care policy, because it doesn’t follow the science. No wonder nobody’s listening to Dr. Fauci.

Let’s face it: public-health messaging and open, honest debate haven’t been the Good Doctor’s strong suits. He’s the wrong man, at the wrong time, with the wrong advice. But the big problem is a misunderstanding of what’s actually going on.

Following large-scale vaccination efforts and the introduction of the various Omicron variants, states and municipalities with more robust masking regulations have not fared better than those with more targeted strategies for reducing the prevalence of serious disease. Even with today’s significantly more infectious COVID-19 strains, the number of serious viral manifestations remain very low — and, in the majority, most of them impact unvaccinated and high-risk individuals.

#6  Pretty sure NYPost was one of those Science! is settled sites.

The lepers....the flat earthers, the denihilists, the grandma-clubbers, the no-mask maniacs, were those who didn't duck and cover then started to notice the government policies were far worse than the overall effects of the coof.

The information for treating the chi-coof is well established; I think they have doctors in a pinch where if they do or suggest anything they risk their career and possible expose for litigation.

Shit, I wouldn't be surprised if there were true believers and narrative agents purposefully trying to expose doctors who are not in lockstep with official orders.

#3  ^Yea Sock. and so sepsis is on the rise. Nursing homes and I have seen several family members have it. Nursing home assistant administrator indicated it was the lack of help.

People sent home in bad shape. 4-8 hour waits on rent a doctor in Emergency waiting room.

Nurse in nursing home had a UT infection and came down with sepsis.

My answer is stay away. More likely you will be exposed to something else.

Shop talk among paramedics is their observations of Sepsis increase they are seeing.

#2  What is appalling is the fact that doctors are sending patients home when they test positive
No medicine no advice on self care
Nothing
No wonder our mortality rate is so bad
Still no protocol for treatment nothing but vaccines and quarantine
Doctors won’t even examine you if you have they symptoms
They are treating Covid positive patients like lepers
