#19  Y’all are flying somewhere over my head with this, Fred and badanov. I’ve saved this entire thread in my moderating notes for future reference in the hope that by then my understanding will be deep enough to use it.

Or high enough, to be consistent with the metaphor. ;-)

#18  Yes, but a lot of web sites don't use stylesheets, so my way is the surest way of getting a graphic posted.
Posted by: badanov   2022-06-29 21:19

#17  Within a style="" statement rather than "=" you need ":" Should be style='width:250px height:300px'

#16  ^^^^ You are all having a "bad day"; I don't want to join you...

#15  Just guessing, but I only set width and the pic's self-dimension ratios kick in with no problem?

#13  Use

https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0359/9944/9224/products/PilotGG2_720x.png

in single quotes, w/o size information embedded into the url

Preceded with the greater less than tag then src=(the above url) then the closing tag

Any sizing information should be after the url. Size should be limited to 250 px, such as size=250

#12  And, 1) Sorry for busting the code here, 2) Thanks for the insider scoop on going forward, TW.

#9   i don’t know, M. This is what you had:

img src="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0359/9944/9224/products/PilotGG2_720x.png?v=1598722459" style="width="250" height="300"/

I tried deleting the quotation marks around width, etc, which generally fixes problems, but that made no difference:

img src="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0359/9944/9224/products/PilotGG2_720x.png?v=1598722459" style=width=250 height=300/

Rantburgers, what say you?
Posted by: trailing wife   2022-06-29 18:26

#8  OK, I set width to 300. What went wrong?

...As I remember, she was pretty sharp - mentally and verbally - right to the end.
