| #1 While I'll the 1st to say, Capital Punishment IS A DETERRENT. But, it must have a series of automatic Checks and Balances taken over a 3 to 4 year to be effective. Where each step insures it is only used for criminal acts and NOT abused for Political, Elitist or Religiously reasons. Whereas, Life w/o parole is basically a Retirement package for too many criminals. |
