#2  My dad was a physician and he used to tell me "That stuff you eat (extremely spicy food) is going to give you an ulcer! I did some research on the subject for him (hot peppers in the diet reduces gastric and colorectal pathologies) and he said "It's counter intuitive, but the research does not lie."
