Coeur d'Alene police receive death threats for arresting Patriot Front members

[Idaho Statesman] Idaho made international headlines over the weekend when 31 masked members of a white nationalist group were arrested in Coeur d’Alene. The city’s mayor and police chief updated the public through a news conference on Monday.

After a call from a citizen warning he had seen men “looking like a little army,” police found the members of the Patriot Front inside of a U-Haul truck during a traffic stop Saturday, according to The Spokesman-Review. They were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to riot at the North Idaho city’s Pride in the Park event.

Coeur d’Alene Police Chief Lee White provided a handful of new details at the conference, including that the riot was planned to take place on Sherman Avenue. The U-Haul was found to contain riot gear and at least one smoke grenade.

#26   NN2N, friends got pulled over for driving while white- kids, late night, black neighborhood, one threw a cigarette butt out the window, cop figured they were there to buy dope. Fortunately they were clean and sober, and behaved civilly, and were sent on their way with a warning after a few stressful minutes.

started running the names thru some search "White/Gray Hat" tools I have.

Some interesting data pops up.
a few Name shows Utah but former addresses show interesting I-95 exit locations in VA for several.

So far initial data shows a number registered to vote back in March 2020.

1 (so far) is registered to vote in 2 states (Washtenaw County, Michigan and Seattle Wa.)

#16  Curious location given the history of the area. Hayden Lake is a suburb of CDA and has a history deeply embedded in the FBI memory. More than any place in the US, locals have a sensitivity to the whole idea of "White Supremacy". Almost like the spot was selected to tap into that for the media to discover that in the memory hole. If this was a planned "event" it fits the location.

They really do look like they're prepping the battlefield for what comes next, and that will need be something very, very ugly if they intend to maintain power through "fighting white supremacy".

So I check the legal code for Idaho, there is no law on the books for arresting a person on possible "future thought acts".

Detain for questioning, yes.

But arresting must meet certain legal steps.
IDAHO LAW Sec. 19-603

Hell, as much as I despise the BLM, I'd still have the same legal issue for arrest on suspicion.

Because we have to protect rights of all, and not become a Liberal Socialist Demon-crats by doing it selectively.

#2  Why does this whole episode seem to be some form of theater?

A bunch of geared-up guys tucked in a U-Haul (you know, like a big orange troop carrier)? 10-15 SUVs or pickup trucks would fit better into the normal area traffic (w/ GMRS or CB coordination), and could find a place to park easier.

'Death Threats' to officials (which seems more like what the left does, especially teacher's union and antifart folks)? Did somebody's Mom call and say 'God will punish you' (to which our very thin-skinned recipients suffered the vapors)?
