#18  NOT a liberal. A "progressive" aka hard left.

Liberals and leftists hate each other. Just ask them.

#17  Do we have a link to the dropping of the Pelosi charges?

#16  Well, charges have been dropped against Paul Pelosi in the wake of his DUI accident. I suspect Boudin will have a billet with the state AG by the end of the week and so will Gascon if he is forced out. That's how Cali rolls now.

#15  DA's in Democrat cities are financed by Soros to implement social justice. Social justice is a political scheme to excuse and reward minorities to keep them on the Democrat plantation. Social justice is not justice, it's politics.

Democrats - fraud, political schemes, and misery.

#14  Abu - right on schedule:

Top Los Angeles law enforcement officials have warned District Attorney George Gascon this week that he will be “next” to be thrown out of office following the successful recall effort against San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin.

Boudin, a former public defender in one of America’s most liberal cities, was recalled Tuesday after 60% of the city’s voters objected to his soft-on-crime policies — as lawbreaking runs rampant in the Bay Area city.

Both prior to and shortly after the recall vote, one of Gascon’s own prosecutors and the Los Angeles County sheriff indicated the top prosecutor — one of Boudin’s predecessors as San Francisco DA — would face a similar fate.

“I think tomorrow Boudin is going to be recalled, and what I want to tell everybody and tell [Los Angeles DA] George Gascon is, you’re next,” Deputy District Attorney Jon Hatami told Fox News on Monday. “The people of Los Angeles have had enough.”

#13  Feel good story of the day. Next up: Los Angeles DA George Gascon, another one of Soros's butt boys.

I believe that gun ownership and voting should be one and the same. If you are not qualified to own a gun, you do not get the vote. I imagine that would change a lot of voting results.

Don't forget taxes. If you don't pay taxes, you don't vote. Must have a Voter ID too. If it's too tough for you to get a Voter ID, you obviously lack sufficient intellect to participate in a modern democracy.

#12  Never mind - ZH here sez it's immediate, with SF mayor London Breed (another leftist whacko) appointing an interim DA until Nov. 8. Thus there's no guarantee that the interim DA will be any better than Lame Beard Boy; shades of NY Gov. Hochul, anyone?

#11  ^ Good point. I assume it's when the vote tally is certified over his mewling objections. In the meantime, he should be removed from the decision-making process and IT network access.

#10  Would've been nice of the article to mention when he's actually booted out of office.

#9   cases handled by a recalled DA's office? I doubt any will be revisited, even if it's legal to do so

They’re all committing new crimes as fast as they can, so there will be plenty of new arrests of old criminals for his replacement to try.

#8  Woke San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin blames 'right-wing billionaires and police officers' as he is RECALLED by voters in notoriously liberal city where murders have soared 11% and stores forced to shut due to brazen daylight robberies

#7  He was Chesa'd out of office...

#6  I wonder what the law says about cases handled by a recalled DA's office? I doubt any will be revisited, even if it's legal to do so, but it's fun to think of some of the skells sweating it.

#4  What does it say about the 39%?

[I believe that gun ownership and voting should be one and the same. If you are not qualified to own a gun, you do not get the vote. I imagine that would change a lot of voting results.]

#3  problem in SF and elsewhere in CA is not all due to Boudin

lots of other things like high taxes, insane zoning restrictions, the 'it's not a felony if you steal less than $1k' law (which was approved by voters)

and Gov. Hairgel looks to be relected as his total is far higher than his nov opponent

#2  The new narrative will be that some of these positions are just too important to be left to the "whim" of rayciss, nazi, what sumremacis voters.

Then the "some of" part of the formulation will be cut.

#1  ...I notice that The Former Mr. District Attorney blamed his loss on the usual suspects, not the fact that he was letting criminals run loose.

And just a thought on my part - I expect DA Gascon in LA to double - no, triple down.
