Izium combat service and support sustainment nodes for the northern Donbas pincer will be immediately put under attack via the primary rail lines that run N to S from Russia to Izium and points further east around the pocket the Russian forces are attempting to close. Unlike much of the other rail lines in northern and western Ukraine, these are Russian gauge lines thus need no transloading to western carriages. Likewise, the Ukrainians already have a bridgehead across the river N of Kherson, and may take advantage of the stripping of forces there to retake Kherson by cutting it off from reinforcements from the Crimea across the river. It all comes down to the competence of Ukrainian soldiers and the incompetence of Russian logistics, versus time. |

| #10 Don't get why Biden needs to negotiate -- the US isn't a party to the war. Yeah, yeah, yeah -- I can hear the stuttering, stammering "HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!! THEY'RE USING OUR WEAPONS!!!" The Vietnamese used Soviet weapons. The North Koreans used Soviet and Chinese weapons. The Iraqis used Russian weapons. The Soviets bankrolled every terrorist organization who would say a few nice things about Marx. And they maintained they were not party to ANY of those conflicts. |

| #5 It is the psychology of the bully on display. Outwardly threatening, but inwardly weak and timid. The view from Europe is of a small and comical man. Biden has a history of trash-talking people he thinks are small or weak politically. He told lies about an obscure truck driver and falsely accused him of driving drunk when in fact it was Biden's wife who caused her own unfortunate death on the road. He tried to bully Menachem Begin. In the American televised spectacle called "debates," Biden talked over and tried to bully Paul Ryan and then Donald Trump. He tried to bully the Saudi King but is now groveling before him at his court. Biden is a small and weak man, a little kitty who gets his back up and pretends to be a ferocious tiger. |

| #4 I doubt Biden wants to negotiate. He could care less if Russians and Ukrainians are getting killed. I don't see why the Pentagon or anybody else would trust the Ukrainians with Javelins or long range launchers. The US will see them again in a wrong situation. |
