Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, tens of thousands of volunteers from many countries have joined the Ukrainian military on the battlefield — well-trained, experienced and equipped fighters of the world's strongest armies. Most of them joined the International Legion of Territorial Defense under the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was created in late February by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky specially for foreign citizens. |

#3 @P2K it is interesting what groups they add. For instance if you were part of the Foreign volunteer units in France during WWI or the flying Tigers in WW2, not an issue. I guess as long as you pick the side that aligns with the US goals after the war you are ok. |

#1 I remember when entering the service in the very early 70s we were required to sign numerous papers. Among which declared that you were neither now nor before members or affiliated with certain groups. One of those groups was the Abraham Lincoln brigade, which was an American volunteer unit in the Spanish Civil War. Wonder how long it will take the Swamp to add this one to the list too. |
