| #18 Look at the map closely and notice that the "line of contact" is mostly "1's". Look at the 'ant trail' west of Mariupol and see how it looks like one cellphone per truck going down a road.... So that's why I said it looks more like rear echelon types and logistics hubs -- maybe the guys at the front are more interested in staying alive than texting or sharing kitty videos. |

| #15 Oh,three months into the invasion someone makes a useless decree. I'm sure the troops -- who have no issued radios -- dropped their phones immediately when they got word. Maybe basing your communications around the invaded country's infrastructure is, itself, the dumbest idea since the Germans built tanks that needed their turret pulled to work on the transmissions? |
