Seriously, IF DC did do a Soylant Green type scenario. All they would have to do, is call it "Protein Biscuits", a 100% Vegan meat substitute/meat alternative that is high in protein and low in carbs.

Then Generation Weird would jump on it.

However, 1 thing in the movie we could use at BLM/ANTIFA peaceful protests.

BTW: 2022 is the year that Soylent Green the movie is based in.

#19  Think its been on the tips of tongues for a while now. Now that it has gone from 'theory is, decreased limited supplies plus an increase in demand especially locally leads to higher prices, but higher prices sponsored by the government lead to scarcity' to 'where the fuck is it?'; its a bit more concrete.

#18  I've read reports today, don't know if they are true or not, that baby formula has been going to illegals. If so Biden's folks may have really done what it takes to convince America the border needs to be secured.

#17  "It comes in pints?!"

"Not anymore, Master Pippin. Oh, and you owe another Guilder."

My $10 laundry soap is half the size it was year and half ago.

#15  Ref #4, NN2N1, the packaging and Best-by-Date tactics have become ubiquitous now, especially the tactic of only selling the larger-sized packaging with less net content, thus saving on packaging costs per unit of measure. But its everywhere, smaller portions in frozen food, significantly small candy bar sizes. I even encountered the reduction in size for Irish Spring and Dial soap bars. But the ultimate insult, was the Guinness Stout Can content down from the traditional 1 pint to 14.9 oz!

#14  It should also be pointed out, that each and every one of the border crossers needs three meals a day.

Except babies. Babies need like 6 or more. If mom can't produce or the baby isn't the woman's baby but a prop then guess what, and who gets first dibs. I'd bet a teething ring there is a stocked warehouse of formula set aside 'just in case', going bad in the summertime heat.

Guess who absolutely owns The Southern Border.

Another question. This recent photo shoot Band Aid for Ukraine, could we ask, how much food/baby formula was included with that? Just curious, in these Covid Protocol induced production shortages, is The Democrat Fed elbowing its way to the front of the line to take finite products from USA distribution or else the factory gets closed because "two babies got the barfs from ?something?"

#13  i'm stealing karenwachen
Posted by: Chris   2022-05-12 12:26

#12  That was because Protocols of Covid and Travel Restrictions.

Remember..remember when Gretchen and the Democrats would have you turned in by the Karenwachen for wanting to be seeds?

Or when the Karenwachen would have a grocery store or restaurant closed and the utilities shut off by the Gesundheitswesen if they were 1 person over 1/4 capacity or someone took their mask off, like when the NYPD send five armed officers to secure a six year old eating cake because if they didn't call that restaurant would be shuttered?

Shuttered Ports in California and all West Coast because transport regulations? Factories at 1/4 capacity with threats of confiscating food production facilities using National Guards? Our fucking Democrat Governor threatened not only those production facilities but also the farmers and ranchers for "traveling further than 1/4 mile in a day." You fucking putz, and your put a seed in the ground cover it with dirt and voila food! sonsabitches.

One of the first things Team Brandon did was try to bag the transport sector. Unless those were plates from Oaxaca, that truck is fine with dragging chains, bald tires, and a drunk operator, and...gasp...UnVaxxed!

But OK. I say go for it. People who see they are making $0.75 to last year's dollar, can't get what they used to at the grocery store even if it is in stock, and don't want their kids figuratively and literally fucked by public school workers are weirdos. Great messaging. Louder please.

To be fair, there are a number of socioeconomic problems that go away under a Soylent Green(tm) scenario. And after all, protein is protein, amirite?

#7  Maybe he is remembering the lines of COVID-unemployed folks waiting for donated food in the first few months of 'flatten the curve.' Private churches and individuals were contributing; the govt not so much.

#5  Who in the hell does he think caused these shortages. Is he listening to the voices in his head? If "Yes", we are in trouble. Dems and fellow-travelers have just about destroyed this country in just over a year.

We decided to play it safe back in late 2020 and have been buying extra COTS storage food each month.

Doing so, we have noticed when stocking our pantry shelves, that some major name brand Can Good item sizes have been trimmed a few OZ's here and there
likely for pricing appearances.

We also noted Best By Dates are now running only about 11 to 14 months out. As compared to same brand Items we purchased over a year ago that still have longer Best By Dates than the new purchased stuff.
