| #1 Psychology of Totalitarianism? Power, money and ideology. Power and money wins out over ideology (Leon Trotsky for example). The welfare of the people...has always been the alibi of tyrants...giving the servants of tyranny a good conscious. Albert Camus (quoted by Peter Schweizer in "Red Handed." I'm not even sure that tyrants care about whitewashing their conscience. It's just a sales pitch. |
