Also, a funeral litia was served for the dead in the church of St. George the Victorious. In addition, the guard of the Ministry of Defense of Moldova paid military honors to the Red Army soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War.
The ceremony was attended by a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Colonel Vasily Litvinov , Moldovan parliamentarians, Russian Ambassador to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov , as well as foreign diplomats, representatives of veteran and youth public organizations.
