Donald Trump wanted to launch secret MISSILE strikes into Mexico to wipe out drug labs run by cartels, former defense secretary Mark Esper claims in new book
2022-05-06
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] And that's a problem, why?
Quick — somebody get that reporter a pearl necklace to clutch!

#12  The headline says it like it would be a bad thing? Given precision guided munitions, seems like a pretty clear message short of having to redo the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo 2.0 to prevent the rampant misconduct and corruption that lives off the proceeds of American prosperity, legal and illegal.

#11  I bet Mexico will take Trump pretty seriously in his second term with a better Sec Def on staff.

#10  (1)Esper is a swamp dweller, so motivation is suspect.
(2)Considering how many drone strikes Obie dropped I would say, why not. Except when they droned targets, they frequently hit the wrong target.
But that's actually a problem with intel, not the drone drivers, ain't it?

Wanted to or asked about?
"Donald Trump asked him in 2020 about launching missiles into Mexico to "destroy the drug labs" and kill cartels.. "

The more I dig, the more I see he was a Deep State 5th Column.

Note: This is the same ESPER that resigned 5 November 2020 hours before Trump was set to fire him for backstabbing his administration during the Election.

Note: How many $$ Millions did ESPER get to write his book and add in certain politically wanted items by the publisher?

Note: Esper described Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger as 'superheroes' for voting to impeach Trump.

Note: Since BIDEN'S Pentagon also restricted him from using unclassified materials in his book? Was this the same Info Trump declassified regarding the Russia Sham-Gate? that the DC Swamp still hides to avoid the public from knowing the Left attempted a political coup?

#8  And why should we believe Esper, a disgruntled guy who was fired by Trump?

Better yet, make a deal with Mexico to do it.

#7  That is actually a good idea. The Mexican government isn't going to do anything about the cartels on its own. But who knows, maybe a neighbor launching cruise missile strikes on their illusionary sovereignty would inspire them.

In any case, a President willing to hit a drug lab is a President less likely to need to, at least after the first couple times to get the point across. You can't have the carrot without the stick.

#6  So much for the Heritage Foundation, again.

#5  He asked his advisors about it and got advice. Seems like the right thing to do.

FFS, the Pentagon better have a plan to do just this, as well as for an invasion of Canada and liberating Chicago.

#2  I suspect it would only have been secret until impact.
