#15  In 1982 Biden supported a constitutional amendment to overturn Roe vs Wade. He's got a right to change his mind, but I think this is just a matter of knowing what it takes to support his base.

#14  I liked the part where Biden referred to the clump of parasitic cells removed from the host as A Child, implicitly acknowledging A Mother.

Tsk, tsk, Mr. Sniff.

#13  I think it's always cute in an ironic way when a politician complains about being lied to.

Not that I think that happened in this case.

#12  Murkowski feels she was lied to. I guess she is developing empathy for most GOP voters since Reagan.

#11  Do I actually find myself agreeing with Elizabeth Warren? I am also opposed to extremist justices who want to impose their views on Americans. Starting with Roe v. Wade, Planned Parenthood v. Casey, etc.

One benefit of the upcoming decision is that in our republic, finally more than 9 people will be able to vote on abortion.

#8  I think Joe will expand voting by the dead to lying by the dead too.

#7  should have chosen one or the other: either has lied or just lies.

You could add: "will lie in the future, frequently"

#6  My favorite saying from my time in Pennsylvania Dutch country: "The hurrier I go, the behinder I get..."

#4  As a grammarian who hates grammar nazism, I would say I caught your drift immediately, I just felt like tossing my take in there.

#3  It’s a variation, M, and I got caught in a grammar glitch, resulting in two tenses when I should have chosen one or the other: either has lied or just lies.

#2  I think what the inline meant was that the old saying "How can you tell when he's lying? His lips are moving." has to be updated to "How can you tell he's lying? He has a pulse."
