Russian positions are now far enough from Kharkiv to reduce danger from artillery in that city. - Russian success in the central part of the front northeast of Slovyansk. Ukraine may not have expect the attack in this place. If the advance continued it would threaten to cut off Ukrainian forces near Lysyyansk from those near Slovyansk. However Russia would need many days and a large force to do this and that would require troops from elsewhere on the front. If it could be done at all. More Russian troops leaving Mariupol while Ukraine still holds some territory there. Again significant bombardments by Russia on Ukraine targets. Less so by Ukraine. |
