German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht announced that its government will grant permission to German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann to send the “Gepard” tanks to Ukraine.

#1 IIUC, and please correct, this is a radar assisted AA flak system which was/is supposed to be really neat vs. Frogfoot (Frogfeet?) and Hinds, obviously their lesser cousins, and anything flying low. A West Block/NATO piece of equipment.

Radar Theory and Tactics, Different Languages, Maintenance, all would take time to train up potential Ukraine crews....or is a crew something provided in the package deal?
