Zelensky gives press conference in Kyiv subway, doesn't hold back on Russian 'bastards'
2022-04-24
[KYIVINDEPENDENT] On April 23, two months into Russia’s all-out-war against Ukraine, one metro station in Kyiv got crowded again.President Volodymyr Zelensky gave an unusual presser for Ukrainian and foreign journalists on the platform of the Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square) metro station in the heart of Ukraine’s capital.

The most emotional moment of his two-hour-long talk came when Zelensky addressed Russian attack on Odesa hours earlier. It killed eight people, including a 3-month-old child.

"Stinking bastards," Zelensky repeatedly called the Russians over the Odesa attack, adding that Moscow slid into Nazism.

#7  We've been bitching for decades about how woeful our alllies in various wars have been both militarily and politically -- South Korea at the beginning, then the South Vietnamese, then the post-Saddam Iraqis, then the Afghans. Now, for a real change of pace, we're watching a quasi-allied (???) army beating the snot -- so far -- out of the mighty Red Army. The Ukrainians are going to provide the next generation of instructors at Ranger School and the War College. "Drone Tactics 101"

#6  Remember when "empire" was a bad thing, and "American Empire" was the worst as far as the left was concerned?

#5  'Imagine' Putin's forces up against US forces. It would be over in 24 hours, nukes or no nukes.

What a tragic waste of human life and treasure. What an evil communist bastard.

#3  Putin's mighty war machine on the SCRAPHEAP: After two months of fighting, Russia has now lost 873 tanks, 179 aircraft, 21,800 troops... and the pride of its navy is lying on the bottom of the Black Sea

#1  Zelensky the great peace maker. He will survive this but in a country such as USA to wage his verbals for eternity. No bunker for this showman. The show must go on, perhaps on Netflix. Stay tuned after this commercial break.
