| [AirLive] US Capitol Police issues alert to evacuate buildings due to "tracking an aircraft that poses a probable threat to the Capitol complex". UPDATE Police say ’no threat’ at US Capitol after evacuation. Evacuation at the U.S. Capitol caused by U.S. Army team skydiving into stadium for the Washington Nationals. UPDATE A DHC-6-400 Twin Otter from Parachute team flew close to the Capitol from Andrews Air Base. Police message to evacuate the Capitol complex: • Evacuate the U.S. Capitol, Capitol Visitor Center, Hart, Dirksen, Russell, Cannon, Longworth, Rayburn, Library of Congress (Jefferson, Madison and Adams) and U.S. Botanic Garden (Administrative and Conservatory) buildings • If you are on the Senate side of the Capitol or eve, in the Hart, Dirksen, or Russell buildings: move NORTH towards Union Station to the Aircraft Intrusion Assembly Area in the parks just prior to Columbus Circle NE. DO NOT STOP at your primary assembly area. • If you are on the House side of the Capitol or eve, in the Cannon, Longworth, Rayburn or U.S. Botanic Garden (Administrative and Conservatory) buildings: move SOUTH towards Garfield Park. DO NOT STOP at your primary assembly area. • If you are in the Library of Congress (Jefferson, Madison, and Adams) buildings: move SOUTH towards Folger and Providence Parks. DO NOT STOP at your primary assembly area. • If you are in Ford, O’Neill, Postal Square, the Senate Page Dorm/School at Webster Hall, the Senate Child Care Center, or LOC Daycare Center, remain indoors. • Updates will be provided |

| #10 Here's a different take: Capital Police used the evacuation to search offices. Dunno. Guess that is an indicator on the trust level at the least. Best check, if the cameras accidentally failed during the evac time. |

| #7 Silos, and Incompetence, the hallmark of DC. Surely if the USCP thought there was a threat to the Capitol complex, the USSS would also be monitoring the same threat. Since the USSS is a vast national agency connected to every resource in the US Defense establishment, the FAA and DHS, and the USCP is a security guard force for one site, wouldn't a competent USCP watch officer call to verify a threat? The two sites are about 1.7 miles apart. |

| #6 Quite certain The Golden Knights have a whole countdown procedure, if you will, on who to contact before, during, and after a demonstration. Probably the size if a novel, down to who to contact if they need to shut down an electrical grid. Kind of what they do. So: On purpose, to be scaremongers. Or, a Kamela hire didn't do the week and daily briefing. |
