| #5 there were a lot of problems with this idea getting planes to places where UK pilots were trained, then training, then getting O&M in place all this time the planes would be targets in fact as soon as the transfer papers were complete, the planes sitting on the ground in Poland would be legitimate targets the anti tank stuff we are (I hope) sending them is easier to use and, while only able to hit one vehicle at a time - still pretty effective |

| #3 The tweet in the posting doesn't render. In case the link doesn't work for you it reads: USA now says that donating Poland’s 27 MiG-29 to Ukraine wouldn’t strengthen the Ukrainian Air Force. USA also says the transfer “may be mistaken as escalatory and could result in significant Russian reaction”. The plan is officially dead. |

| #2 Giving MIGS to Ukraine would have been foolish. I suspect politicians in the US couldn't make enough money off the transfer to make it worth their time. The $10-16 Billion McConnell wants to hand to them is is just as bad. A good sized chunk of it will end up in a democrat bank account. |
