[REGNUM] The urban-type settlement of Donetsk (LPR) was shelled on February 28 by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire.
The shelling began at 19:30 Moscow time. Ukrainian fighters used a 122mm artillery gun. They fired ten shells at Donetsk.
Recall that during the day on February 27, Ukrainian militants fired at the territory of the LPR 16 times.
Donetsk military liberated the village of Zamozhnoye
[REGNUM] The settlement of Zamozhnoye was liberated from the Ukrainian militants of the DPR unit, spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov told reporters on February 28.
Noting that the military of the LPR continued to conduct offensive operations in the direction of the settlement of Kremennoye during the day, advancing another three kilometers, Konashenkov said:
"The units of the Donetsk People's Republic advanced 16 km in a day, having captured the settlement of Zamozhnoye."
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, almost 1,150 Ukrainian military installations have been destroyed since the beginning of the Russian military operation, which started on February 24 to help the republics of Donbass.
