For those keeping track of personnel issues. [Garowe] The Kenya Defense Forces [KDF] have deployed a new commander in Sector II of AMISOM, just months to the reconfiguration of the forces serving in Somalia, a country that has struggled with instability for decades.Brigadier Jattani Gula will now take over from Brigadier Jeff Nyagah, whose service in the country ended this week. The Sector II team is based in Dhobley which is near the Kenya-Somalia border and important in Jubaland. |
