#2 #1 Sure they did. The entire idea was to crush Russia. Breaking Russia up into several countries would offer a great deal of profit to the bankers who would own them. Why not do this? Over the last 15 years or so they have lost some of their importance as Democratic focus has shifted to the LGBTQPOCMOUSE groups and their woke supporters, but in the 90s you saw Bill Clinton and Al Gore still actively pursuing Polish, Ukranian, and Baltic votes.
