| #11 If the Ukraine is taken, then Georgia would fall giving pipeline access to Armenia and south into Iran and the TBC pipeline from Azeri. Nordstream 2 back online and the Baltics would be in the crosshairs.How strong is the NATO glue? Remember the Chinese delegation to Afghanistan. A Paki pipeline and Soviet naval base was always a dream. we will know soon if we are seeing the beginning of something with far greater global implications than Ukraine. Putin is old and wants a legacy. You can bet China is watching the reaction, the time to expand, perhaps re-draw and solidify sphere's of influence in the Pre-cold war sense may be here. A Ruso-Sino alliance would be formidable. |
