| [Forbes] The rout has been particularly bad for Covid-19-related stocks in recent weeks, says Bank of America analyst Geoff Meacham, who points out pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, down 2% Monday, has also been caught in the mix despite the promise of its Covid antiviral pill after it warned in its fourth-quarter earnings report that vaccine sales will decelerate this year. With Covid cases plummeting from all-time highs, experts have increasingly questioned whether vaccines will be a sustainable revenue stream in the years to come, and adding to the concerns, a study released Friday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed Moderna and Pfizer booster shots lost substantial effectiveness after about four months. | #4 Moderno's stock price today, about 150 is still considerably above where it was before the pandemic it was below 50 in the spring of 2020 and rose to about 90 just before announcing the vaccine's approval for emergency use. the over 400/share they had in late summer 2021+ was based, I think, on the theory that the wealthy countries would be coerced into buying all the people in the 3rd world multiple vaccinations. |

| #3 You can drop the mask mandates and still have yearly Covid shots the way we have yearly Flu shots. It seems a subscription revenue stream that could go on for a long time. Maybe the stockmarket thinks the Covid story is going to collapse entirely and the big three vaccine makers might be culpable in some way. |

| #2 huh? It's almost as if the usual actors are playing pump and dump with these neo-medical companies and/or their nee-medical subsidiaries that they spun for handling covid shots... so weird and unexpected. NOT! |
