Don Surber: Covid may kill globalism |
2022-02-08 |
There are not many of them left, but imagine a 100-year-old survivor of Iwo Jima. He has seen in his lifetime the fall of Nazism, fascism, Japanese Imperialism and the Soviet Union. He also remembered that after the war, America was the greatest land of all. Factories hummed. Each city had a specialty. Akron made tires. Detroit made cars. Pittsburgh made steel. Toledo made glass. Most of that is gone now. Globalism shipped American jobs to Mexico and overseas in exchange for cheap stuff. When the Soviet Union collapsed, Red China swept in. Its plan to rule the world was stealth. It paid off the politicians and lured in the CEOs. It has racked up a $4 trillion trade surplus from the United States. |

#5 Of course, as hamsters will, they spent 24/7 trying to escape their cages. The Chinese people might start getting ideas.... |

#4 IIRC, thousand/millions of innocent, fuzzy, cute little hamsters were slaughtered for the crime of having a human virus detected. |

#1 Just as the confounding of languages destroyed the tower of Babel? I know COVID came at aright time for my government. Anarchy sponsored by Sorôs threatened establishments everywhere, and something... for whatever reason... gave us all the ability to crush it. It's unfortunate that the baton was in the hands of the Dems by the time in the US. |
