The Polk County Sheriff's Department has arrested 68 drug dealers who used gay dating apps Grindr, Scruff and Taimi to meet their clients

For six months, undercover detectives talked to the dealers with fake profiles

'It was a shock to us that they were openly advertising,' said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd at a press conference on Thursday

Judd said that dealers were using codewords like 'Tina,' the ice cream emoji and the birthday cake emoji to advertise their sales

They seized around 280 grams of meth, 3 grams of cocaine, 130 pills of MDMA, 1.5 grams of Fentanyl/heroin and one gram of LSD

Many of those arrested had rap sheets - one man had 32 prior felonies

One of the dealers had 13 guests arrested for drug-related charges when police raided his home, and another had 14 guns seized
