Is Russia-Ukraine-USA really just a "Wag the Dog" scenario?
2022-01-25
Seriously, are we really in a "Wag the Dog" scenario? Because it seems to have too many benefits for all concerned and no real shooting.

USA - Biden Handlers are getting massive amounts of Media deflection from their Liberal Tinkle-Poor handling of the Economy and Covid-19. A staged face off between Biden-Putin makes both look like stronger world leaders.

Plus, maybe some help with the 2022 midterms, that is looking like a collection of steaming fresh Cow Paddies.

Russia - Putin gets to re-enforce his viral strong imagine. Promote "Russia's Rise in the East". Able to face off, or down the USA as an equal or superior world leader.

Ukraine - As we have read, the Biden Family (and staff) has pocketed over $30M from various Ukraine sources in the last 12+/- years. It likely knows Biden is not about to start a War. But neither do they want political blood to flow either. The current leadership gets to look strong rattling its sword.

All while keeping a USA/EU paths open for many economic ventures.

#5  They didn't choose anything. As usual, Putin wrongfooted our idiot leaders.

As to the possibility of bombing or trashing shitty third worlders, well, that's rayciss. Russkies OTOH are evil ghey-bashing whi' s'premaciss.

#3  If this is they picked a stupid scenario. All this does is remind everybody how inept the withdrawal from Afghanistan was. Much better to come in strong on a drug gang or human trafficking operation to (a) make your open border chaos seem no so bad (b) provide an enemy you can defeat, and if you don't defeat nobody will really know (c) Provide an enemy you can beat with a weekend bombing run without troops on the ground (except maybe guys with laser sites) (d) provide an enemy nobody will support. Just arrange to ensure no media is around to show collateral damage.

If that doesn't work go after Somali pirates so our navy can show off, or even pick a 3rd world nation claiming some bits of international waters and provoke them.

You don't pick the world leader with nukes, a serious military that has some recent experience in the area, and a tactical mind that can run circles around the children helping gramps in the White House. Certainly not while your top Generals are deciding what colors to bedazzle the new non-gender specific uniforms with.

#2  /\ Not that the DC factions give a shit about us.

Correct, the Deep State oligarchs will board their Gulfstreams will find safe refuge while the crowded, crime filled urban centers become ash heaps. When peace finally arrives, the culling will have been completed. All vestiges and monuments to the old order will have been vaporized.

#1  It's multi-faceted. Of course Biden desperately needs a foreign military adventure to stave off his horribly poor approval ratings. The globalists want to wipe out Russia once and for all, and smash it into small states that will be easily assimilated. The corrupt DC mandarins want to cash in. It's win-win for everyone.

Well, except the American people, of course. We get to pay for it and do all the dying. Not that the DC factions give a shit about us.
